Avon League 30th Anniversary

Time: Tee times from 2pm

Price £35 per head (£140 per team of four)

Golf Format

1. Texas scramble medal in teams of four.

2. 18 Holes, White tees for men, red tees for ladies, Maximum course handicap 18 for individual players after conversion from handicap index using the slope rating for the host course.

3. Team stroke allowance is 10% of team total. medal play, first decimal place will be used.

4. Teams and handicaps must be sent to the League Secretary by Wednesday prior to the event (June 11th) to facilitate making the score sheet and scorecards.

5. Tee times from 2pm

6. In the event that electronic on-course scoring is used, players are to input their own scores on to the electronic system and also mark a traditional card for verification. Failing to return a paper scorecard for verification will result in disqualification.

7. In the event of a tie, the result will be decided by back 9; back 6;back 3; back 1 etc

8. No Buggies are allowed unless the player has a severe disability or medical certificate. Only the player requiring buggy may use it and carry clubs. No other players or clubs allowed.

9. Players are responsible for checking paper scorecards.  Any cards reaching the scorers which have been completed incorrectly may be disqualified.

10. Prizes will be available for the top 2 teams, in addition to some hole prizes.

Lunch & Presentation

Food arrangements following golf: Curry & naan.

Dress code: Smart casual - no jeans, trainers or shirts without collars, etc.

Prize presentation at approx. 7:30pm

League mid-season meeting will follow the presentation

Costs

£35 per player for golf and food = £140 per team.

Payment arrangements - Bank transfer to League Secretary in advance
